Delete virtual resources

Ixcloud utilizes a reasonable charge system, which charges just for the amount you use;
therefore you can save time and money compared to using pre-existing physical servers.

Because of these pros, however, the fee can be charged if you do not erase the existing virtual resources since these can be recognized as still being used.
So, you should remove them completely when you do not use them.

When you delete network resources (number5-8), you have to follow the steps below and it must be processed  in order.

1. How to delete a volume
2. How to terminate an instance
3. How to delete key pair
4. How to delete rules of security
5. How to delete a router interface
6. How to delete a router gateway
7. How to delete a router
8. How to delete networks

1. Delete a volume

Removed volume is not recoverable. We recommend that you keep a back up before deleting a volume.

Even if you delete an instance, the connected volume data will not be damaged.

1. Choose the volume you want delete and click button after Project > Compute > Volume.

2)  You can delete the volume successfully when you click in the ‘Confirm Delete Volumes’ dialog box.

 

2. Delete an instance

Terminated instances are not recoverable. We recommend that you keep a back up before deleting a volume.

Even if you delete an instance, the connected volume data will not be damaged.

1. Choose an instance that you want to terminate and click button after Project > compute > Instances.
   
   

2. You can terminate the instance successfully when you click button in the ‘Confirm Terminate Instance’ dialog box.

               

3. Delete a Key pair

Please note that a removed key pair is not recoverable.

1. Choose the key pair you want to delete and click after Project > Compute > Access & Security.

 

2. You can delete the key pair successfully when you click button in the ‘Confirm delete key pair’ dialog box.

4. Delete security group rules

Please note that the removed rules are not recoverable.

  1)    On the Security group tab click after Project > Compute > Access & Security.

  2)     Choose the rules you want to delete and click ; you can delete the rules pair successfully.

                 

5. Delete a router interface

Please note that a removed router interface is not recoverable.

The following step (from ‘5. Delete Router Interface’) is an integrated method for deleting resources, which is about network.

It must be proceed sequentially from one stage to another to avoid  unnecessary charge

1. On the Interface tab after Project > Networks > Routers), click .

2. You can delete interface successfully when you click button in the ‘Confirm Delete Interface’ dialog box.

6. Clear a router gateway

Please note that a removed router gateway is not recoverable.

1. Click after Project > Network > Router.

2. You can clear the gateway successfully when you click button in the ‘ConformClear Gateway’ dialog box.

7. Delete routers

Please note that a removed router is not recoverable.

1. Choose the router you want to delete and click after Project > Network > Routers.

2. You can delete the router successfully when you click button in the ‘Confirm Delete Router’ dialog box.

8. Delete networks

Please note that a removed network is not recoverable.

Do the follow only after completing the delete process of an Instance, volume and router.

1. Choose the network you want to delete and click after Project > Networks > network.

 

2.  You can delete the network successfully when you click button in the ‘Delete networks’ dialog box.
