Requiring Video Player with Reinforced Security for the New Video-Based Education Service

Educo is one of our customers that uses KINX’s IDC service. While preparing for the launch of a new online video-based education service, the key matter that was taken into consideration was prevention of content leakage. Content leakage would be a fatal blow to the business, and thus the company felt the need for a video player with enhanced security to provide information protection.

After comparing and evaluating a number of CDN operators, Educo chose KINX’s CDN, based on Educo’s high satisfaction with KINX’s services in the past as well as the fact that KINX was offering a video player that would meet Educo’s security requirements.

Providing Video Player with Reinforced Security Features Incl. DRM

What mattered the most to Educo was a video player with reinforced security that would prevent its content from being leaked or reproduced. To meet their needs, KINX custom developed a player that supports the DRM functions to prevent illegal content leakage. KINX also provided a transcoder so that they could create their content in formats that would be suitable for multiple platforms.

Preventing Content Leakage and Providing High-Quality Services

Through the services KINX provided, Educo was able to use a video player with the security feature necessary for content protection and effectively provide online video-based education services without worrying about having their content leaked illegally. Furthermore, Educo signed a contract to integrate KINX’s IDC service that they were using previously with the new IDC service to unify the maintenance and management processes for more convenient use.
